About Lone Nut Kaizen

There’s always a better way

Every workplace has them — the workarounds, the lost ideas, the wasted effort. We built Lone Nut Kaizen because we believed there had to be a better way.

Every workplace has them

The spreadsheets no one trusts anymore.

The improvement ideas that never quite make it off the whiteboard.

The recurring frustrations everyone has learned to work around.

The duplicated effort happening across different teams without anyone realising they’re solving the same problem.

For too long, continuous improvement has relied on disconnected spreadsheets, sticky notes, email chains and enterprise software that is either too expensive, too complicated or simply too difficult to embed into everyday work.

We believed there had to be a better way.

Our roots

Built on real Lean experience

Lone Nut Kaizen wasn't created in a boardroom. It was shaped through years of working alongside organisations implementing Lean and Continuous Improvement in the real world.

When teams can clearly see what frustrates them, understand what's causing those frustrations, and work together using a simple, structured improvement process, remarkable things happen. Continuous improvement stops being another initiative. It simply becomes the way people work.

People aren't short of ideas.

They're short of visibility.

— The one lesson that became clear time and time again

Our belief

Technology should remove waste — not create it

Lean is built around eliminating waste. Ironically, many organisations trying to improve are still managing improvement using dozens of disconnected spreadsheets, documents and manual tracking systems. That’s waste.

Today’s technology makes it possible to bring improvement conversations, ideas, actions, measures and learning together in one place. With AI providing insights and reducing administration, teams can spend less time managing improvement and more time actually improving.

That’s exactly what Lone Nut Kaizen was designed to do.

Our goal

Lean should be accessible to everyone

Continuous improvement shouldn't be reserved for large enterprises with large budgets. Every organisation deserves access to practical tools that help people solve problems, work together and build a culture of improvement.

Our goal has always been simple: create software that is…

Powerful

Powerful enough for experienced Lean practitioners.

Intuitive

Intuitive enough for teams just starting their journey.

Affordable

Affordable enough that cost isn’t the barrier to getting started.

More than software

It's about creating better workplaces

Lone Nut Kaizen isn't just about tracking improvement ideas. It's about creating workplaces where problems get solved together.

Because when people are given the right tools, the right questions and the right visibility, improvement stops feeling like extra work. It simply becomes how better work gets done.

Problems are visible instead of hidden.

Teams solve issues together instead of working in isolation.

Decisions are supported by data, not assumptions.

Improvement becomes part of everyday conversations.

Customers experience the consistency that comes from engaged, empowered teams.

Our Mission

Continuous Improvement, simple as it should be.

By combining proven Lean thinking with modern technology and AI, we’re helping businesses replace complexity with clarity, reduce unnecessary frustration and build cultures where continuous improvement can genuinely thrive.

Because there really is a better way.
