Lone Nut Kaizen ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our software-as-a-service application (the "Service"). Please read this privacy policy carefully. If you do not agree with the terms of this privacy policy, please do not access the service.

Information We Collect

We may collect information about you in a variety of ways. The information we may collect on the Service includes:

  • Personal Data: Personally identifiable information, such as your name, shipping address, email address, and telephone number, and demographic information, such as your age, gender, hometown, and interests, that you voluntarily give to us when you register with the Service or when you choose to participate in various activities related to the Service.
  • Derivative Data: Information our servers automatically collect when you access the Service, such as your IP address, your browser type, your operating system, your access times, and the pages you have viewed directly before and after accessing the Service. This may also include data collected by third-party analytics services.
  • Financial Data: Financial information, such as data related to your payment method (e.g., valid credit card number, card brand, expiration date) that we may collect when you purchase, order, return, exchange, or request information about our services from the Service. We store only very limited, if any, financial information that we collect. Otherwise, all financial information is stored by our payment processor, Stripe.

Having accurate information about you permits us to provide you with a smooth, efficient, and customized experience. Specifically, we may use information collected about you via the Service to:

  • Create and manage your account.
  • Email you regarding your account or order.
  • Fulfill and manage purchases, orders, payments, and other transactions related to the Service.
  • Increase the efficiency and operation of the Service.
  • Monitor and analyze usage and trends to improve your experience with the Service.

Cookies and Web Beacons

We may use cookies, web beacons, tracking pixels, and other tracking technologies on the Service to help customize the Service and improve your experience. AI-Powered Features

The Service includes AI-powered features (collectively referred to as "KAI"), which may include — depending on your subscription tier — the AI Insight Engine, AI-Assisted Process Mapping, the Digital Twin Monte Carlo Simulator, Kaizen Culture Monitoring, the 5 Whys assistant, the AI Process Auditor, and any other feature that produces AI-generated content. To deliver these features, we send the inputs you provide (such as problem descriptions, process steps, KPI values, idea text, and related metadata about your organization, sites, and departments) to third-party large language model providers — currently Google's Gemini family of models, accessed through the Genkit framework — for processing. Responses are then returned to you and may be saved against your organization's account.

We do not knowingly send special-category personal data, payment card data, passwords, or government identifiers to AI providers, and we do not use your organization's data to train our own models. Your AI provider may retain prompts and responses for a limited period for abuse-monitoring purposes in accordance with their own terms; please refer to Google's Gemini API terms and privacy documentation for details. You are responsible for ensuring that the information you submit to AI features does not breach any confidentiality obligations or applicable laws, and for not entering personal data about other individuals beyond what is necessary for the improvement task at hand.

AI-generated content is provided as guidance and inspiration only. It can be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading, and should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional, legal, safety, regulatory, medical, or financial advice. See our Terms of Service for the full AI disclaimer.

Disclosure of Your Information

We may share information we have collected about you in certain situations. Your information may be disclosed as follows:

  • By Law or to Protect Rights: If we believe the release of information about you is necessary to respond to legal process, to investigate or remedy potential violations of our policies, or to protect the rights, property, and safety of others, we may share your information as permitted or required by any applicable law, rule, or regulation.
  • Third-Party Service Providers: We may share your information with third parties that perform services for us or on our behalf, including payment processing (Stripe), data analysis (Google Analytics), email delivery, hosting services (Google Cloud / Firebase), AI model inference (Google Gemini via Genkit), customer service, and marketing assistance.

Security of Your Information

We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information. While we have taken reasonable steps to secure the personal information you provide to us, please be aware that despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against any interception or other type of misuse.
